The Dublin Silver Band is a British-style brass band based in Dublin, Ohio, and the 2025 North American Brass Band Association First Section national champion.

The Dublin Silver Band is a British-style brass band based in Dublin, Ohio. Founded in 2008 as the Ohio Brass Band and performing as the Dublin Silver Band since 2010 under Music Director Tim Jameson, the band has earned North American Brass Band Association national championship first-place finishes in 2015, 2019, and 2025, won the 2015 US Open Brass Band Championships, and made its international debut at the Brass In Concert Championship in England in 2016. The Dublin Silver Band is part of the Dublin Community Bands, a 501(c)(3) organization.

The Dublin Silver Band exists for the entertainment of our audiences, the enjoyment of our members, and the pride of our community. The band is a group of professional-level musicians who volunteer their time and talent, driven by a chase for perfection, a genuine affection for one another, and a passion for connecting with audiences on an emotional level. Rather than ordinary concerts, the band commits to telling stories that engage the audience in the musical performance — an approach that has earned it an international reputation for artistic excellence and creative staging. Founded in 2008 as the Ohio Brass Band by Dr. Paul Droste and Dr. Patrick Herak, the ensemble became the Dublin Silver Band in 2010 under the direction of Tim Jameson. Since then it has claimed first place at the North American Brass Band Association Championships in 2015, 2019, and 2025, won the 2015 US Open Brass Band Championships, represented American banding at the Brass In Concert Championship in England in 2016, and competed at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship in 2020. The band is a seven-time winner of the Ohio Brass Arts Festival and performs more than ten times each year across central Ohio. The Dublin Silver Band is one of six ensembles of the Dublin Community Bands, a 501(c)(3) organization with more than 250 participating musicians.
